I have been following this story for many years. This is the story of a mom that has been convicted of stabbing her son to death .She has been on death row for 12 years now for a crime she may not have committed. There are some things that lead investigators to believe she did it.However the things that point towards her innocence I feel are more positive.Like a bloody fingerprint left on a coffee table.Only a person that was there that night could have left that print. She and her lawyers have fought the courts for years to be allowed to do further testing on that print they have recently won the fight. As far as I know they have already proven that it didn't belong to any known individual that was in the house. The pictures of her in the hospital with a slice on her neck and a stab in her arm show a woman who fought off an attacker. There are many pictures of severe bruising on her arms all of this the prosecution wants you to think she did to herself.Yet they only showed the jury certain ones .One juror said if he saw the photos he would not have been able to believe she did it to herself and feels guilty now that he helped convict her and send her to death row.It is a tragedy that this woman may be serving this time and possibly be put to death for a crime she did not commit. I think the worst of this is there could be a child murderer that is still free to do this again.

I am not familiar with this case, but unfortunatly our justice system is not a system of guilt or innocence. It's more of a popularity contest between the lawyers. Sounds like she had a bad defense attorney... and the prosecution was strong.
I can't imagine being a lawyer. They don't care about the truth, they only care about what will win them their case.
