Is your computer slow?

My computer is slow. Very slow. I'm not sure is't because of virus or it's because the computer is too old. It's run Windows XP and have 1.5GB of memory. At any time I saw the usage of memory is 100% and most of the time commit memeory is bigger than expected. I want to try your suggestion to use error fixer too.

no, it only gets slow when i am running lot of programs at the same time.. it just fine, i just need to upgrage my hard drove to have more space. my memory works fine. use whitecanyon's secure clean in cleaning your pc, i used this ever since, and i got alot of free spaces because of this.. and it also delete the remnants of the files you deleted already...

I need to use them sooner or later. My system is damn slow. I have only heard of Tuneup utilities. and even used it before. The system goes to normal for few days, and then again goes back to the old state after that. I have stopped using those ever since this problem. I want a permanent solution. And any idea why these errors happen??

My system not run slow because i'm using antivirus, spyware, ccleaner, speedupmypc tools, and some more software to make my pc fast and quick i no need to use registry cleaner to make my pc fast because i pc was already fast and quick and it was working well and good.

Sometimes it is slow,but most of the time my computer is fast.I have a small query,I have got 2 GB free space in my C drive were the OS is loaded.But sometimes it will show that your running out of memory and when I check the drive it will have only 70MB space.I dont were it went.The next day I found that again the space became 1.5GB.How is it changing any idea.

Its that true? Sometimes computer slow may cause by the capacity and also virus. Its really frustrating when our computer work really slow. I do always reformat my computer when ever its slow to help improve the speed. I wonder is that alright??

Hi, are you a software engineer? As far as I am concerned we must never use any such kind of softwares to clean registry, it is not so good. There are many softwares available online which clean the registry, there is what u said error fixer, smitfraud fix, many more, but then if you use these continuously registry gets corrupted, if you want your system to really work faster see to it that you dont download unnecessary softwares or games, delete cash and cookies, temp and prefetch files everyday and use a ram which is atleast of 1gb , this enhances the speed of your computer, but never go for softwares which clean your registry, after sometime you may have problem with your computer, i faced it practically, then verified the same with friends and now telling you. bye.

i use ccleaner and tuneup pc for my system optimisation.i dont know about the softwares mentioned by you.but ccleaner is one of the good software for the system optimisation. anyway fixing registries in right way will increase the performance.

There's alot of causes to this and registry errors can cause some minor problems depending on how much of your registry is actually littered. In my case, I have a bad habit of keeping too much stuff in my laptop. To regular people. It is always good to have at least 20 GB free at all times. If your hard disk is smaller, keeping 20% free should prevent things from slowing down too much.

Well there can be many reasons that you your PC might run slow. Some virus has attacked your PC some spyware(which makes your PC run very slower).this spyware could have come along with some software you installed If you have installed more than ONE antivirus.Remember installing two antivirus will not mean that your PC is super safe.It will slow down your PC considerably. Running many applications on a PC which has less RAM configurations

My computer got slow too, i used Firefox 3 it says "the fastest browser than IE!

I use True Sword 5, that program cannot delete what he just detected but he detects almost everything. Then I see the registry value and I delete it manually. My computer is not slow because there's no viruses or spywares on it. But if your hard disk is almost full your computer will be very slow. Also if you have small amount of RAM memory your pc will be slow too, a good intel dual core processor and 1 G or 2G of RAM and your pc will be fast as hell. + plust some antivirus protection

my computer is not slow but if i have lots of things open then yes but usually my computer tend's to work fine and fast =-)

My computer used to be so fast. Then it slowed down after few years of using it. I installed an anti virus program that killed all its virus. Now it is running fast again. I intend to keep the anti virus because it is a big help.

I use tune-up utilities. Its much better and many choices you found in this program that can speed up your pcs
