Do you wear makeup even when you are staying inside all day?

My husband says that the one thing he doesn't get, is why some woman dress up and put make up on when they will be staying home all day. I amthe type that will wear sweats and a t-shirt with no makeup on when I am not planning to go any where. But if I have appointments, work, shopping, etc... I get dressed up plus put makeup on. I would never leave the house any different unless there was an emergency. Do you wear makeup all the time, part time, or never?

i don't wear make up if i'm at home. i don't really wear make up outside either, only when i have important or special events to attend. most of the time i just wear powder and lipstick to give my face some colour. sometimes i wear eyeshadow if i have time. i rarely wear blusher too

If i dont plan on going anywhere then no that would be honestly a waste of time fi you think about it. Now i do have some lazy days where i'll go to the store to get some things but i wont dress up or put makeup on just because i dont care what people think but thats just me. But most likely if i was to go somewhere now i'll put makeup on fix my hair dress up this and that but i have 2 kids and dont feel like it sometimes.

I have 4 and know how they can take much of your energy away. Sill I will not leave without makeup because I have an uneven skin coloring from a bad sunburn. It would be nice to just go like I did when I was younger. Natural can feel better sometimes.

I am all for being as natural as possible. Unfortnatly, a few years ago I had a bad skin burn all over my body from the sun and now I can only cover up the discolleration with foundation and powder. Those both make it look a little better but not completely so I just go all the way and do it all to help reduce the looks at the discoloation.

Let my wife answer to this question. I am handing over the keyboard to her.
Hi cmathias, This is arya's mother and wife of Jayaprakash. Happy to meet you here. I used to make up in the morning after taking bath, at the noon before going outside to receive Arya (our daughter) from school and evening before my hus reach home from the office. Here in Tokyo I have seen girls doing make up even when they travel in the train, publicly. Recently the railway department issued notice and pasted all over Tokyo to keep away from such public nuisance acts. Japanese girls are crazy over cosmetics and looks.
Happy myLotting!

Thank you so much for your educational answer. Different cultures fascinate me. I am from the United States and I can tell you that woman will put their maeup on while in the car. It would not suprise me to see them do it in the train like you have wrote about. I guess woman world ide can be crazy about cosmetics an their looks

Hi, I only put on makeup, when I go out - work and dinners / functions.
Other than that, I'm just too lazy to go through the whole process! Sometimes when we go to the malls or hypermarkets to do our groceries or shopping, I skip makeup.
But if I'm meeting friends for shopping, then I'd have to.
