is tag neccessary for the discussion or response??

can anybody tell me that tag is necessary to be added with response or creation of new discussion.i am hear from somebody that if you does not added tag for a response or with discussion,then the earning from that will does not counted or response is also not counted. is this right,that earning can counted if no tag in discussion or response??tell me the answer with detail in any case

I believe it is important otherwise, myLot will not include tagging anymore. They say it helps in sorting the topics so it would be easy when people are searching for specific topics. I am not really very sure but I always put tag because I believe it is necessary even if there is an option to skip this.

No it is not necessary to add tags
it is totally optional
Tags are used just for better page ranks on search engines
they don't have anything to do with your earnings.

No it is wrong because there is option in the tag to skip tag. It does not impact the earning either posting a new discussion or posting a response. I think in the comment to the responses tag is not there. I do not think that it affects the score or earning. Any way if any other know can better explain.

Hi yadav8797,
I always tag my discussions and responsed as it eaer to find them when you need them and also to find other Mylotters disussions to respond to so I think its a good idea to tag them.

when I will post my own discussion I always make it sure to have a tag so that it would be easy to identify with it but when I am responding any discussion sometimes I do put my tag but if it is there already it will not appear so sometimes I do leave it and not even put any tag on it.....

Great question....I've wondered the same thing. I always add the keyword tags to discussions that I start, but haven't been that great at adding them to my replies. Is that a bad thing? Or will it just keep me from possibly locating particular topics that I may try to locate later?
