I just read that shooting has just begun on a new documentary about the Friday the 13th franchise, entitled His Name Was Jason. It will be aired on Starz on Feb 9th 2009. Daniel Farrands - editor/co-publisher of Crystal Lake Memories and director of The History Channel's two Amityville Horror docs - is directing with Anthony Masi and Thommy Hutson on producing duties. Anchor Bay will be releasing it on DVD http://www.myspace.com/hisnamewasjason I'm excited about this. I think it could be pretty interesting. Anyone else want to see this?

Heck yeah! I'm almost as excited by this as I am the rerelease of the uncut Friday the 13th, and the new Friday the 13th remake!

I want to see the uncut version but not looking forward to the remake. I'm not a fan of most remakes because they usually are crap. Thanks for responding.

I'm just worried that they will completely change it. Like Jasons mom was the killer in the first movie. I've heard that they are going to just have Jason as the killer. That would tick me off if they do that.
