~~~~~~~~~SPOILER WITHIN~~~~~~~~~
This has been bothering me since I first started watching Heroes. There are two key characters that we KNOW have super powers, but we dont know what they are!!
Kaito Nakamura is Hiro's father. He died in the second season so I fear we may never know what his super powers were. *cry*
But Angela Petrelli is still alive, and I hope in the new season her powers will be revealed. I am guessing it has something to do with her mind... kind of like Matt Parkman.
What do you think her super power is??
That has been bothering me and my husband since we started watching, too. I'm sure they'll reveal what Hiro's father could do at some point. I think Angela Petrelli's power has something to do with the mind as well. She knew Matt Parkman could read her thoughts and she communicated with him by doing that.
Exactly! Thats why I have a hunch it has something to do with telepathy. But I was reading Wikipedia and it says that we saw Angela Petrellis super power in season one, but it was being used by Peter instead of herself. Peter can sponge powers off others, so I wonder...
I will have to watch the first season again before season 3 comes out... maybe there are some clues there.
True true! I almost forgot about the paintings. Ya think Nathal will be coming back? He was shot.. I dont know if it was fatal or not... but not that Claire is giving away all her blood like a morphine drip, no one has to die ever again!
And yeah I saw that Claire might be evil... I saw her in a preview looking all Villainyish. It was hot .
did they really hint to them having powers? peters father had a power and i think these people just have political and financial power more then the 'hero' type power. i don't think both parents or even any parents need to contain powers for the offspring to contain some. its just the generations we've seen on heroes does have that it doesn't mean its true. it does start from somewhere, but just like x-men its a hidden gene.
i would have no clue what her power would be if she had one, but i don't think they'll make her have something too major.
Kaito and Angela DEFFINATLY have powers even though we havent learned what they are yet! They are both founding members of the Company... and all of the founding members have super powers.
Also, Kaito admitted to Hiro towards the end of the second season that he has powers. He was talking to Hiro and told his son "We have the powers of God, son. But that does not mean we ARE God."
Oh Rose you should give it a try - its very well written, imaginative and complex. Its like a soap opera with super heroes!
My advice would be to rent season one first. I rented it from blockbuster. Watch seasons one and two before you get into season 3 beacuse its all linked together.
You wont want to look away!! The story line just sucks you right in.
Has anyone figured it out yet? Angela can see the future (which she said in Chapter 9 "Peter and I have seen the future...") but it's more of an intuition, I think, than an actual vision. More of just instictively knowing what is going to happen, and not so much seeing it the way Usutu or Isaac did. Someone else mentioned that in Volume 1 she knew Parkman was trying to read her thoughts but I think that came from working with the Company and knowing what his ability was.
it def. has to do with her dreams because i'm watching season 3 right now and they just revealed she can see the future in her dreams!
I thought it was pretty much established that her power is persuasion. Kind of like Eden except she uses touch instead of her voice.
