Denzel Washington - Do you like his acting ?

I am seeing the movie: The Crimson Tide on cable right now.. The movie stars Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington..
I thought it was a powerful movie with great peformances by both Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington.
What are your comments about Denzel Washington.. ? Do you like his acting? What is the best movie of his that you've seen?

He can be a good actor..however for the most part I think he is a bit overrated...I like him in TRAINING DAY

He won an Oscar for his performance in Training Day.. You say, he is a bit overrated.. how so?

The movies I've seen him in I've really liked. I admit I haven't seen him in that many but he's always done a great job in his performances. I loved him in "The Pelican Brief". His character was well acted and he brought him to life with style. He's an amazing actor; one I hope to see in more.
