Strange why good people die at a young age

"masamang damo"(bad grass?) here in the philippines, people who are "masamang damo"are those who are able to live long because they use all their will, may it be bad or good to get what they want and be fulfilled. they are said to be hard to exterminate(?) and destroy. my prof during class told us that he feels like he will going to die soon, so he said, "how come good people like JOSE RIZAL die at a very young age?" so he continued "what if when i come accross a beggar i kick him?" so we burst out in laughter. he's implying that he is kind and good and therefore death-prone. haha so what if this is true? do you believe that good people are taken early?
