Who is your bestfriend?

Her name's K. I met her five years ago and she's my best friend ever since. She shares my dreams and secrets. I can tell her my problems and whatever that needs telling. When I'm with her I feel happy. We make it a point not to get angry with each other. She is my trip-buddy. Once we went to Tagaytay for a long weekend vacation. I think that was the first time we were together alone for two days out-of-town. We lunch together sometimes. We eat dinner on some fancy restaurant if time permits. I can go on-and-on on things we do but the thing is: K's my bestfriend for all time. =)

My bestfriend is my boyfriend. I know that sounds like something you're supposed to say, but its true. We've been together almost 20 years, since we were teens, and even when we split up for a short time, we were still friends. That in itself is a truelly long discussion so I won't post details here. My other best friend is my son. As far as outside the home, I haven't had a bestfriend, or even much of a friend at all for many years. I don't go out so I never make any. My boyfriend's best friend is probably the closest I have to one. He actually can be considered my friend also because when he calls, it sometimes is just to say hi to me. He doesn't treat me like I'm just his friends girl.

Boyfriend for 20 years?! That's quite long enough for that kind of a relationship, don't you think so?
