How did you propose your partner for the first time??

My fiancee and I had been together for almost three years and he asked me one day when I was at his apartment. He told me although he cold not afford an engagement ring, he asked me if I would marry him and I told him yes. I told him I rather hold out for the wedding ring anyway lol. He asked my dad last month for his blessing and my dad said yes and gave us advice on finances and stuff. Now we are looking at the first day of spring to hold our small ceremony.

My husband took the children out and pick up the ring. He proposed with them there and it was perfect. We did the same with out wedding. Just us and the kids. Our family, the only people that truly matter.
