Here are few tips that could help you: While eating, chew your food. This helps to reduce bloating. Raw vegetables, cabbage, beans rae bloat producers. Soak your limas and lentils. Beans are full of fiber and good for you, so if you want to keep eating limas, lentils or any other members of the bean crowd, soak them in water overnight.Sorbitol, a natural sugar used in sugarless gums and candies and many diet sodas, also is hard to digest and causes gas and bloating.Avoid chocholates. Because it contains sugar and dairy, both major sources of gas.

I have had this a couple times which followed after a very heavy meal. I took about a half cup water and stirred in a teaspoon baking soda, mix really good till disolved and drink it down. You'll burp like a pig but sure feel better after, hope it helps for you, it did me.
