I have been with MyLot for over a year. I can confirm that this is not a myth. You really do earn more by posting a response that is 3 or more lines long. Also, it makes for a much better discussion. Every topic should be discussed as comprehensively as possible. That can not be accomplished with one word responses that don't make sense to the topic, or a one-liner answer to a question. It one of the reasons questions that require a simple yes or no answer are not allowed. There is no discussion occurring with that type of question. I hope this helps you as you get settled into MyLot.

I myself am curious about this too. I try to make my responses longer, but it doesn't always work out that way. From what I'm getting, no one really has much of a clue what pays more.

Yeah I have tested this out and I can safely say you do earn more money when you make your post longer. One day I made a post that was 4 sentences long and I got 4 cents and the next day I made a post one sentence long and got one cent. For a month or two awhile ago they use to pay by the sentence I dont know if they still do that but they do pay more for longer post.

I believe we earn more for this but everyone has their own idea on what makes more money and since we will never know for sure the best you can do is see what works for you . I have tried shorter responses and longer responses and have found I earn more when I make longer responses but maybe this is because with my longer responses I have more to add to the topic and this is why I make more .

the system that they put here is so complicated if you're going to analyze it merely literally. the system was programmed to analyze what is quality and relevant nit in the matter of how long or how short it is but there are relationship in some other context with regards to long discussion than in a short one. if you're going to just post a single liner or two, what kind of substance would it bring to the topic at hand for the program to analyze it? well, you know the answer to that. on the other side, a loner post doesn't mean you're out of the hook already, if you're just talking non sense there and only a few are related to what's being discussed then it is all the same. honestly, i am running my own experiment too with regards to this, just like, i cannot make so many post in a day, some would say that they made 50 in a day and some only 5 or 10 in a day. the results of what i could say an experiment is that, i earned more from making quality and relevant posts, coupled with at least 5 or 6 liner. i wouldn't go below 0.70 cents if i'm doing that with only few posts or let's say at least within 20ish. at some point just last month when i pushed myself to achieve and get passed with a $1 in a day so i could reach payment and i did, and that my posts didn't reach even 50ish. so at least in my part i could tell that it is not an urban legend but proof that you could earn with quality and relevant posts that has at least 5-6 line.

I have tested this and I found out that a longer reply gives you better earning. I have tried this and since then I would try my best to leave a longer reply to any discussion that I participated. You can easily test this by leaving a one liner comment for a day and you would be lucky if you can get $0.01. Anyway, that's my finding and does not mean that I am right!
Cheers!
