That you know even if you haven't talked to him or her in a long time you can call for any thing?
I have a few friends that I know I can call for any thing even if we haven't talked for a long time. Life gets in the way some times and we allow it to. Some times we just need to take a minute and call to say hi.
I have read emails from them before and recently seen one about forwarding... it said some thing like when you can't call you forward when you can't be there you forward when life gets in the way you forward. There were all kinds of pictures and stuff on it. And I thought thats really true. When I forward an email its because I really think it fits that person.
Who is the friend that you know you can always count on? Who is the friend that you know can always make you feel better? When was the last time you talked to that friend?

I know this may sound corny, but my best friend is my sweetheart. We have been married almost 34 years and we both would rather spend time with each other than anyone else. People sometimes tease us because we still hold hands or that they never see either one of us without the other. But that's what being friends is all about.

That doesn't sound corny at all! I wish I could say I still had that. I was married for 4 years. And the first 3 years plus the time before we were married we were best friends. Then that last year happended and well he didn't want it any more. I'll find that special person that deserves my love and friendship one day. Its really nice to hear a story like yours and know relationships like that are still around.

I have only one friend like that. We see each other every Christmas Eve and talk once in a while. In fact, I called her today. If something happens or things get tough we talk. I also have family like that. There are three people in my family that I can tell anything to any time. Like you say we may not talk for a long time but if we need something the other is always there. In all cases, it's as if we were together every day regardless of how much time has really passed.

Yea that sounds about right. Even when you think you have nothing to say you can see an email and think of someone. Then just send it on there way to them. Foeever one that hates forwards remember all it means at the least is that someone, somewhere took the times to think of you and check the little box next to your name. Even when you dont have time just rememebr a forward can mean many things like to remind you , you are loved an also thought of.

yeah i have friends like that..whatever happens no mattr how long we sont see or talk to each other i know that i can lean on them if i need to and we understand that...and they can also count on me anytime...
