Unfortunately, the sports channels here in India were not covering this match. I was looking eagerly for this match simply because Zenit was tipped as an underdog. But, probably yesterday they learned their first lesson in the big league, no team is a pushover here. I also saw that Del Piero's goal is being hailed as a piece of magic.
So good to see Juve start off with a win.

I haven't seen the game, because I was watching Steaua - Bayern, but I just checked the results from the other Champions League matches, and I'm glad to see Juventus beat Zenit 1-0. I hear that Del Piero scored from a stunning free-kick!
I'm glad Juve came back to Champions League with a victory! I hope they will make a habit of it!
