Only being able to copy and paste at 500 posts is a myth

I managed to do it a couple of times before I reached 500 but not every time. So, even though you accomplished it, I would not count on it always being there for you before 500

It is a rule in mylot. Users who have posted more than 500 are able to copy and paste. I guess this rule had been introduced to curb abuses here on mylot.

That's interesting. Maybe they have relaxed it a bit which I think is a good thing. If you have a flaky connection then there is nothing worse than to type for ten minutes and then for the connection to be dropped and all your 'pearls of wisdom' are lost! If you were able to write your masterpiece in Wordpad or Notepad and then paste it into Mylot then life would be easier. The restriction was put in place in the early days to stop nutters pasting great chunks out of Wikipedia and the like and getting paid for a lot of plagerised words. It was thought by the time a member had got to 500 posts they would have matured enough not to do it. I think they will have learned by 200 posts.

hi beaver, friend,are you saying right.how can this will be possible. i have passed over 330 post but i have not able to copy paste any discussion or in response.how can this is possible with you with reaching the 500 post and 263 post are much lesser amount as compared my post count.how this will possible friend??this will be unbelievable for me. this can be like a magic for me.happy mylotting
