Finally, Finally, Finally. Rockstar Games finally (and officially) announced that the GTA IV, the latest installment is being released for the PC this November, that is, November 2008!
So it is releasing this November for the PC, but is your PC ready to handle it? Let's find out.
GTA San Andreas, the previous installment required just a mere 128 MB RAM and a 64 MB Video Memory to run itself on a PC machine (Though you can guess what condition it ran on).
Ironically, GTA 4 (IV) requires the Creme De La Creme (Best Of The Best) PC Machine to run itself. According to Rockstar games, the minimum requirements are...
Any Dual-Core Processor (Intel D or higher,etc.)
Windows XP SP 2 or higher.
2 GB RAM for XP (2.5-3 GB for Vista)
512 MB Video Memory provided by a good graphics card that supports latest Pixel shader version and DX 9 or higher.
18 GB Hard Disk Space
Mind blown off. I can still only dream of this game, but one day, will surely get it. But considering that we are turning our machine into PlayStation 3, this needs to be done.

this game is availible for ps3 right cause i was think of saving up n gettin one of the ps3 if they have a used one some how some way and i would get the game cause i love gta in fact was thinking about loading gta san andreas onto my hd and playing on my laptop wish me luck with that and i wish you the same with your goals and dreams

Sweet! I have tried is on PS3 a few times, and it's good! But I like better to play on my computer.
My computer is about half a year old now, but I think it's going to run the game well. (Intel Dual Core E8400, 8800GT 512 MB, 4 GB ram, 250GB HDD). I think I will buy GTA IV when it comes out for PC, if I got enough money then :)
