Do you carry a great relationship with

When I was growing up, I was not that open with my parents. They thought I have a different world. I kept myself more to myself. I did have friends but I had limited time to spend with them because my parents were strict. Just this year that I became vocal about my feelings and my thoughts. I am now a parent of two kids and I teach my kids to be open of what they feel and think about life. I am practicing what I preach so I decided to be open to my parents. My parents, at first, felt awkward talking to me. But, I am now a grown woman who can speak up what's on my mind. I don't speak out to be disrespectful. I need my parents to know that I have a different perspective on some things.

With my mom, yes! its all started when i become a mother myself. Thats the time when i become open with all the things thats happening in my life especially now that im living aways from my mom and that my son stays with her. Before i make major decisions in my life, my mom has to know about it so she can tell me if its the right thing to do or not. We have this open communication already. [b][/b]

We have a very good relationship. In fact, we have an open communication lines especially with my mom who shares all their activities on a daily basis. Since I am an only child, I was raised as their best buddy as well. We do share a very nice company together.

I believe I have a good relationship with my parents, but I am not to close to them. In my childhood, my parents were busy and I was being with nanny almost all the time, and in my teen I always have clash with them, that might be the reason why I cannot be so open to them. Even when I feel close to them I can never show affection towards them I don't know why, but still I don't blame them, because I know that they love me
