While growing up, did you have your own room?

Well, in my case, I always have to share it with my younger sister. She's 7 years younger than me. So when she came into the picture, I would always have to share room with her until I move out of our house to attend college in another city. Now, she has the room all to herself. Sometimes, I tell her she's much luckier now, she does not have to put up with me (lol). Well, that's because I am the messy one and she was more organized.
So while growing up, do you have your own room or do you have to share it with your siblings. How was the experience?

Well, we had a three bedroom by the time I was 5 and my oldest sister had already moved out, so it was just my other older sister and I, so I had my own bedroom most of my life until I got married..I am the organized one, my husband is not, so there is some tension sometimes..

I had my room and I loved it. The one I liked the best was when we were living in Brazil, because it was basically two rooms. One part was the room itself the other a little room to watch tv, do my homework, entertain my friends etc :):)WHen we were in Portugal my room had so many windows and light! I could see the ocean from almost every part of my room, that was a super plus :)
I did share my room, occasionally with my cousins when they were visiting, but other than that it was all mine :):)

yeah, since i have no siblings, i have my own room, but i still opted to sleep with my mom when i was kid.. i just move to my room when i got older..sometimes my mom and i still sleeps together..

When i was in grade school,i used to share my room with my elder sister but when i reach high school i started to have my own room, where i can study a lot of things and learn to clean my own garbage and also to decorate my own room that shows who lives in that room.lol

hehehe i grown up with the poor family dear so we sleep in one room.our house was 3 sleeping rooms but we used to sleep together.

My fathers job consisted of frequent traveling and so therefore we lived in a travel trailer when we were younger and the space was very limited so I did share a room with both of my brothers we had bunk beds. I did not like it because their stuff was all over the place and I could never keep it organized because they were messy but I had to deal with it because of the circumstances so I just accepted it and lived with it. I have been having my own room for last 10 years and have the most spacious room so I guess it payed off after time.

Being the only girl, i got to have my own room. I have an older brother and a younger brother who had to share. It drove my older brother nuts because he felt he should have his own room being he was older. For the longest time he just didn't get it that girls should have separate rooms from boys.
