how do you consider the impostance of principles and values/ethics?

i dont have any topics to open but this came to my mind when i click the human icon here in mylot.
mine is values can distinguish right or wrong actions. moral values is an example. Principles are beliefs of assumptions in life.
to all mylotters i ask you whats yours?

My parents were pretty strict when it came to right and wrong, I never knew what it was to lie for years, it just wasn't what out family was about...My parents taught me to always think of the other person and the pain I could cause and to this day, I never do to anyone what i wouldn't want for myself...Right and wrong is important in life.
