Taking a Break

I'm new and so far I've been coming pretty much every day as I like reading the discussions people have here, and the cash makes it even more worth the while. I know I'm going to have slowdowns definitely because of school, social life, etc. I still want to try to come online every day whenever I find the time to come on. As for being bored with the topics, I don't think people could get bored because there are different, new, and anything goes type of topics every single days. If you're bored with what people talk about, make your own topic and try to get a lot of people to discuss under that topic. All in all, it's a fun way to pass time while making money at the same time.

Actually, I like being here. But, I have a very limited access to the internet and very little time to get myself here everyday, because of that, I don't come here everyday.

I think this is a common practice. Everyone takes a break or even number of discussions started/participated may change from one day to the other; for me it happens due to excessive work load on other fields. I have never been bored taking part in discussions here at mylot.

i take break. its mostly on weekends. also i am not able to post like this for this week, it will be same next week as well. i will miss mylot

hmmm, being new on here, its all very exciting and fun for me so far; I'm making new friends, and so far I've enjoyed all the subjects that I have participated in; I'm getting NOTHING else done do I must enjoy it here huh?? LOL!

I know how you feel coz i havent logged in for 3 days already. I tried to partipate as many discussion today though...just to make it up to those days i was not online. Well for a married person and has a lot of priorities in life it is hard to participate in every discussion almost everyday. It is not because i am bored with the topic though sometimes some topic are boring lol. The main reason why i was not around for a couple of days is because i am usually busy with a lot of stuff.

I do take a break when I go on holidays, but most of the time if there is a computer and I get internet connection, I am on myLot. Now it does not mean i am here 24 7 it means that I will go on mylot periodically during the day. I sometimes cannot go on it for that long and since I am writing a novel, I cannot get on it as much as I want, but I do like to take a break, like get away from computers for a few days to a week just to have a rest.

i do check in every day im home however it is getting to the point where i find a lot of the postings uninteresting or even boring for instance i could care less about someones shopping trip or if they have visitors or not and wish we could get something with more meat in it to discuss

well somtime i have to make myself go on line but i have to remember iam here to make money and if i make some friends a long the way that kool.i think we get lazy sometimes and just want to chill out our mind is always working sometimes we have to take a break so we can give good responses to other question.

Once I had to take break from mylot when I was on my summer vacations and there was no Internet. I couldn't wait till I come home again. But sometimes I just turn on computer and realize that I don't want to response any discussion.

Hi there! I am always here in mylot everyday. I am always at home 24/7 so actually I have lots of time to spend here. And yes, I do take a break from mylot but not completely. There are days that I just spend a few hours to post and respond to a few discussions and then log off. I take breaks or slow down from mylotting not because I get bored but because I am tired. Mylotting everyday is tiring also. Sitting in front of the laptop for several hours and typing and typing and thinking is tiring. But always fun. I also slow down a bit when I have reached my payout. Like yesterday, I have reached it so I will be just taking my time mylotting for today. Ciao!

Some days are better than others, sometimes I have other things to do so I don't get here much. Today, for instance, is Thursday, which is the day I go bowling and I am gone most of the afternoon and evening. When I get home I am usually to tired to want to spend time trying to think about responses and such. Some days I just don't see much worth responding to on here so I go find other things online to play with

Well talking of bored i sometimes do get bored of mylot when there is no good discussion to respond and neither do i have a good one to post. And i am also addicted to pc games so i also play games instead off coming on tomylot every now and then.

I come on here every day there has only been once or twice that I have got really fed up with coming on and just haven't bothered to and have left coming on here for a few days at a time, but then I start missing everyone so am back in full swing again....littleowl

Its not that hard. Just let yourself get interested and log in once or twice a day. I don't have a PC at home. I use the office computer. Whenever I get the chance I log in and participate. Its easy and fun.

During weekdays, I am actively participating here but Sunday is my day off and Saturday is not a very active day for me. However, indeed there were days the topics posted are boring to me so if I also have no good topic to post.... taking a break is the only way for me. Sometimes though, there are so many interesting topics, but my job would keep my busy so I have not much time to log in.

I get a bit worried when I find myself spending too much time on myLot - or on the computer in general. There are so many things I should be doing - getting out in the fresh air, walking, reading, catching up with family. I definitely try to take a few days out without logging on - and I'm not interested in the money part anyway, so I only log on when my friends post interesting discussions or topics. If I log on and there's nothing interesting, I log out again.

I don't do mylot on weekends because I want to rest my eyes from staring at the computer for too long. Also by doing so I get to find more interesting discussions the time I come back here in mylot.

Yes. If you call them Breaks then I do take breaks. I cannot come on myLot everyday. Even if I loved the website, then I wouldn't be coming on everyday. What is the need to come on to myLot everyday? A few days a week is more than enough to get your daily fix but a small but somewhat decent income.
