I have just brought a baking tray espically to cook do nuts in the oven, can cook six at a time. Do I use the same recipe that you deep fry them with? Or is there an oven recipe. There wasn't a recipe with the tin. Want to cook some very soon. Thanks Anne18

Hi Anne18 Wow that isn't a very big baking tray if you can only fit 6 nuts on at a time! I would just stick them in the oven at a medium temperature and keep an eye on them!

I would not try it because it is a different type of heat and they won't turn out like they should. You cannot deep fry in a conventional oven. Check out the Internet. Perhaps you will find a recipe there. I think that if your mixture can be done in an oven, then it would probably just require you to spray the baking pan with cooking spray, like PAM for instance. cd

Search around online for a recipe. The recipe for deep fried donuts doesn't translate to oven baking, so you have to change it quite a bit. Good luck!
