Are we allowed to post celibrity posts on MyLOT

Any pictures you post should also not be offensive or of an adult nature, of course. Just the usual rules.

They may be freely available but they are still, I am almost certain, somebody's property, not yours. Unless you specifically see a notice attached to them that they may be used freely, you can assume that someone somewhere holds the copyright. The fact that you found them on some website and it's pretty obvious that they copied them from somewhere else doesn't absolve you. People have downloaded music tracks for a long time without being prosecuted but, just recently, the copyright owners have decided to take action. Of course, they take action first in the places where the legal expense of doing so makes the most sense. Technically, if you upload unauthorised copyright material to MyLot, MyLot becomes liable for hosting it. That is why the clause is there in the Guidelines and TOS. No doubt, if MyLot were taken to court about it, they would very soon pass on the damages to the members - and especially those who had infringed the Terms of Service.
