suggest ways to keep family united........Please help me !!!

how do you keep your family united ??????
how do you understand their feelings or make them understand your feelings???
how do you resolve conflicts ????
I am asking this because there are constant conflicts in my family????
Please help!!!!

I come from an angry family that fights constantly and I vowed that when I grew up I wouldn't have a family like that. I still feud with my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, but not with my husband or children. My house is pretty calm. I've come to understand that you can't change people, you can't make them nicer and you can't make them get along. Some people just like to argue. All you can do is be peaceful on your end and by doing that, you're doing all that you can possibly do.

Wow!!! that is a fantastic thought.
But I think, some people can be changed if there is faith & understanding in the family. You also have to understand their needs & aspirations.
You cannot just jump to the conclusion that they cannot be changed, maybe they want to change something about you and you want to change something about them but you never discussed it amongst yourselves--what you like or dislike about each-other.
It is also because of lack of communication with your family and relatives, maybe you never had a big family get-together and try to understand each one.
So even by staying under one roof you all were just complete strangers. !!!
And now you don't have any feud with your husband or children because there is proper understanding, but you have to keep up to it all your life other-wise the same thing will keep on happening again and again- with your children & grandchildren.
Think about it !!!!!!!

Wish I had the answer for you on this one, my family what's left of it is just
a mess all the time, seriously all the time, its been that way since I can remember
I envy those that have great family life really;
I just take it one day at a time, its all I can do;

well there are no such rules to keep the families united!! it is all upto the family members to keep the family united! a feeling of oneness should be there in each and every member of the family! each and everyone should be caring towards every other person!!!. always talk when there is a problem, have lunch, dinner or breakfast together!! you should have known a famous saying" a family that prays together stays together". but it doens mean if you dont pray ,then your family doesn stay together!! it helps the family members stay united ..

if i would be in ur case ill make sure What is my Role in my Family.....
What is Maturity & View toward Life, Society & world comes 1st.
Age comes First. will people listen2 u or do they getting d things which u wants2 share!!!!!
if ur bellow 18 den it's very hard dat ur family will listen2 u but its possible...
Try Find d Center of problem. after problem finding Arranged a meeting where every body will speak 1-BY-1. @ dat time put ur thoughts & views, try to be polite & kind.
In Case Center of Problem is Money den it's Nearly I-M-Possible.
