when we go for a family drive and we see a car doing something character, my children will always ask"is that another woman driver dad?" we will drive up and pass and sure enough 90% of the time it is..maybe because they talk more on the cell phone, or are always checking there makeup, or maybe they are just more interested on what is playing on the radio.

So very not true. Every accident I have ever been in, and the list is long thanks to my DAD, has been with a man behind the wheel. My mother is the superior driver in the family. My brother wrapped a brand new mustang (less than a week old) around a light pole. And has gotten multiple tickets in the same day. That age-old stereotype about dangerous women drivers is shattered in a big new traffic analysis: Male drivers have a 77 percent higher risk of dying in a car accident than women, based on miles driven.

More men than women said that being a good driver gave them the right to speed, and that having a good set of brakes meant they could drive faster.

A difference in the way women's brains work may explain why they have fewer accidents behind the wheel than men.
Insurance companies recognise women as safer drivers and adjust their premiums accordingly.

Boy this stuff is all over the internet. I could go on. I will end this by stating that the individual who hit my walking sister on the sidewalk and changed her life forever was also male.

if women did not drive so slow or careless then men wouild not have to try and pass them. i am confused on whcih are actually worse drivers though. women, drunk , or the elderly. either one and keep your eyes peeled
