Political Blog...

Would you read a political blog that gives factual information about the candidates, their platforms, voter information, sites to verify facts about candidates, etc. or are there already too many political blogs out there? I have an older blog that I am thinking about restructuring and turning into a political blog offering information about all the available candidates and the election news and events.
As far as being able to come up with topics after the election is over, I could easily keep the political topic and cover political news, events, etc. Even try to keep voters informed of the behind the scenes activities in Washington.
Would you read such a blog? Would this provide a useful service to American Voters and help them stay up to date on the important issues in our government? Anything else you would like to see in this sort of a blog? Your thoughts, please.

I wouldn't be interested in any political blog because there are many which are biased. I am not pointing at anyone but many bloggers tend to put in their personal thoughts and sometimes even favour some candidates over the others unconsciously. Even if they are unbiased, it is hard to tell whether the facts are real or not because the candidates could be pretending to be someone else to obtain trust and votes. In some countries, even the news media are influenced by candidates. Even the most trusted sources can be influenced, how can I trust a blog?
Anyway this is just my opinion. There are benefits to reading some political blogs because there could be useful comments that can be pondered upon. If you manage to make ur blog trustworthy, you can earn a considerable amount from it.

The reasons you mentioned are some of the very ones that are making me think long and hard about whether or not to start one! I appreciate the input. I will keep thinking about it for a while I guess. I tend to be very interested in politics, though, and it is a topic that would always have something to talk about! LOL

I am the type of person who tries to keep their distance from politics in general so I would not be interested in this type of a blog. I do think that it is important for voters to have a resource for all of this information though and that it would be a great blog to start. I just hate talking about politics, even to see signs for who people are pulling for for president makes me cringe. I have gotten into many arguments over politics so now I try to keep my political beliefs to myself and research on my own to see where each party stands.
