I have never tried to diet before, everytime I went out to be healthier I either worked out twice as hard or did something simple as drink a ton of water.I have seen people be miserable on diets and I have avoided it completely. How about you?have you ever been on a diet?did it work?what did you do different?what was your over all purpose for being on that diet?

Obese - Obesity could kill. This is one reason why I am so concerned about my obese grandchild. I just hope and pray that someday soon, she will cooperate and go into a strict diet.
I have always been on diet. Not the diet that deprived myself of any meal but rather a diet that restricts from fatty and all junks and unhealthy food. I am into veggies and fruits most of the time because that is my way of keeping healthy and fit. However, I have a big problem when it comes to one of my grandchildren. She has uncontrolled appetite and she has turned obese. I am still up to now doing all I could to help her shed those unwanted pounds. She has been very uncooperative but I am not giving up. I know that one of these days she herself will realize she needs to diet or else.

When you are writing a discussion, you would see on the left lower part of the back the link "add an image". Then another box on the lower part of your discussion would appear and it is up to you to upload the photo you want. This helps in adding income so I encourage you to attach photos if applicable.

I am going to give you some advice what ever you do DON'T TRY THE GRAPEFRUIT diets. Because I did now I can not eat grapefruit. or tomatoes. or lemons.or limes.anything with antic in it. I learn the hard way so that is what happen to me!Go on water melon and yogurt and eat everything at super time that always works for me.I was 299lbs now 130 if that? crazydaisy

I am an extremely lucky person. Never been on a diet and don't have a weight problem. I always atribute it to the fact I was so athletic as a kid and teenager. Kept myself busy and very active. Now as an older adult, I am thin and can eat anything. Even after the birth of 3 children, I didn't have problems losing any weight I gained during pregnancy. I wear smaller size jeans than all 3 of our girls so I consider myself fortunate.

Ok that sounds really good. I think the best way to maintain the perfect weight is through staying active and being athletic and you are a perfect example of that :]

The one that worked was about 20 years ago (OMG has it been that long?). I had a bunch of co-workers on Jenny Craig, Nutrasystem, Weight Watchers, etc. And I decided that if they could do it, I could. And I did lose about 30 lbs and keep them off until I had kids. Since then I have had much less success, mostly due to laziness and health problems.

Hi Bri, I have tried several times...I took herbalife products before and it was very effective and I just stopped because I cannot afford anymore! and then I joined gym also which I love very much and both were really effective and my main goal is to keep myself fit since I have no problem about my weight! I was only working hard for my tummy! This time, I am trying to cut my intake of rice since I love it and I am also trying to motivate myself to exercise regularly!

I recently stopped eating rice :] I am proud of myself for doing it lOL..i mainly did it to see how long I can go without it but I think I am going to have rice today since I can smell it in the rice cooker LOL. I heard of herbalife products, theyre suposed to be really good for you but they are expensive . I go to the gym all the time too..but then I dont go for months ;]
