second marriages...are they always sucessful?

No one will know if a second marriage will be successful, until you have done it. It mostly depends on the couple. I am in my second marriage. There have been ups and downs, but overall I see it working better than my first. This is my husband's third marriage, so obviously his second did not work. We have been married now for nine years. He seems to be happy and I also. So, I would give a second chance, but who is to say that second chances always work?

Well I am my husbands second wife. we have been married for 5 years and thing are rather good. Things get complicated due to children from his first marriage we seem to argue with her a bit, but we have custody and are raising the kids. Life hands you challenges and choices to go with it. you have to make the best of it. We all make mistakes and have to pay for them in one way or another, but I would say that is life.

I have no idea. I am in the process of a divorce from my first marriage. My soon to be ex husband plans on marrying his girlfriend. Only time will tell if his second marriage will work out. As for me, I will not remarry.

I am sure that there have been many successful second time around marriages,and why on earth not?its not very time that a relationship is going to work,some fall at the first fence,and others last a while longer,some last for years and then fall apart at the seams,so if there is no way of trying to find happiness with a second chance then there will be a lot of single people around.

I married a second time, lasted 13 1/2 years but she left me for another man. I felt sorry for him but he got what he deserved for messing with someone else's wife.It was her second marriage also. She had two kids when I married her and later she told me she married me because her kids needed a good father. Kids grew up, thank you, but I no longer need your services. It really wasn't that bad of a marriage. Many good memories. A third time? ???

I believe that second marriages can work out. I am on my second marriage. I guess it depends on the nature of the relationship if it will work out. Each relationship is different and I do believe in second chances at love. There is nothing wrong in seeking marriage again if you feel you would like to as long as it is for the right reasons.
