Do you get freebies and what freebies do you like the most?

Hi friends! I don't know about you but I love a good freebie! I like the ones you get with magazines, the little free samples of cosmetics. I also like to get freebies on the internet - I have a few websites that I like to check every week for new freebies. I like the fact that these are usually trial sizes which I like to keep for weekends away and the like. I'm also a bit of a cheapskate! I'm saving the trial sizes and I'm going to make up little gift baskets with trial sizes for christmas presents for the kids to give to their teachers. I know it sounds cheap but it seems like the perfect use for little samples of skincare products ... and it's a nice thought. What do you all think?

have you heard of freecycle? i cant remember if its .net or .com or .org, but its a site where people give away things they dont want in your area. i havent really checked it out yet, but you sound like you'd like it!

Hiya. Yeah I'm on my local freecycle group. It's a great way to recycle stuff that you need to get rid of but it's too good just to throw out. I got some lovely school dresses for my daughter and they are in really good condition. They fit perfectly and are just right for her!

i went thru a period of being completly obsessed with googling "free samples" and other phrases like that! my favorite was a sample of Vera Wang Princess perfume. it was amazing. i actually ended up buying a bottle!

I have stocked quite a bit of my home supplies with free samples! Honest I have! I haven't bought things like toothpaste all year and always have Crest or Colgate or Aqua Fresh -a ll the nam brands and all their new versions. I have hte expensive toothbrushes and name brand deodarants...and the list goes on. Hey, if they are giving it away, I'm not going to turn them down! My blog Coffee Break Whatever Freebies (in my profile) - I have list of ones I have done, and some sites where you can find hundreds of free samples of your choice and some print coupons at home sites for foods. I also just found out about Targets site for coupons for their stores alone nad have used them often. I can't say enough about how great freebies are - they save money, introduce you to new things in case you are looking for something that "works". I have even gotten some thing that I intend to use as stocking stuffers!!!
