norton 360 as well on my laptop. it came with it and a free one-year subscription. before i got this computer i used McAfee and it always worked very well. i guess i'll see how Norton goes over the next year. i've heard people have problems with it blocking a lot of programs, especially on Vista.

I am using Antivir on both machines, it is an excellent, free program to use. Catches bugs other programs miss.

I have tried Norton, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and all the other free ones, Avast, AVG, Antivir. They are all nice and effective but I stay definitely wth NOD32. It has just improved so much and it's extremely lightweight. It's also non obstrusive, no annoying pop ups that have obvious decisions and random scans and stuff like that. Less falso positives than the others, form my own experience, and it also detects huge amount of viruses and malware and adware and related things. It also has the best heuristics and proactive behavior detecting engine or something liek that xD, I just knows that it detects unknown viruses better than it's competition. I think I've been using it nearly for 3 years now, on the 3 computers of my house, and I am very happ with it. A satisfied customer that recommends it to everyone that asks about a good antivirus =).

I have to agree with miller23231, AVG is one of the best anti-virus programs out there. It has all the best features to protect your computer and it's completely free. Norton on the other hand does nothing but eat up space and slow down the performance of a PC, and I don't think it's a great program to boot.

I am currently using ESET NOD Antivirus and it is working well. After using it I have not faced any infections. It always update automatically. It is also cheap to buy. Caspersky is also good I heard.

I use AVG. It's free and it does a fantastic job. I use it on both of my computers and haven't had any problems. I've been using it for a couple years now and I really like it.

i use NOD32 as a antivirus for my Computer, because it's no too Heavy, good servers to make a update, don't take a long time and particulary it's don't slow my Computer performance, because im working with it a lot. kasper and others just get to my nerves with a lot of alerts , most for some kind .exe programs lol and to update it's take a eternity like i want to visit Mars or the Moon !! lol

Here at the office, we are using Kaspersky 2009. It's a really good anti-virus and it doesn't take up too much resources. At home, I use Avast! Home edition. It's really good because it has a boot-time scan feature. The only problem with it is it takes up resources at start-up because it is scanning all of the start-up objects. After that, it doesn't take up too much resources.
