hI mylot just made a response to a discussion that interested'nme and somehow when I hit the response button, I could not find my
'response for a few minutes, then I scroll down empty inches of
space and there it is. Just wondering has this ever happened to'any you mylotters? you type in your response then hit enter, and look for your precious words and scroll and scrool through maybe ten inches of space, and think oh my G I lost my response'only to find it at the bottom of all that blank space?
Have any of you any idea why this happens? What did I do wrong?

Rose, I noticed that yesterday, too. Irish's discussions were the only ones that were that way. I think she is doing something to them to make us think we are nuts.....or something.
Don't say it! I know I'm already nuts, but people don't have to make it seem like it's worse than it really is!

Not you, dear, the computer. It happens. I imagine that tomorrow it will be all back and tidy in the correct place. I am glad it did not just vanish off into the unknown.

I am sure that it is just a glitch in the Mylot format.. I haven't had it happen, but I have hit the post response button and then tried to stop it because I had noticed a typo and then lost all of my information.. It isn't always our fault, but it is frustrating..

Hi hatley! There has been so many things going on in the
last few weeks especially this one with mylot that I
just don't really know. I have pm's that don't send they
just disappear into thin air when I hit the submit button.
I have had this problem since I started almost 4 months
ago and I can't get mylot to fix it. The last few days
I have noticed that mylot is running super slow and the
pages just don't seem to want to load and again things
are disappearing so I am not surprised by what you are
saying at all. And what really upsets me is that mylot
won't answer when you write to them about a problem. That
really bothers me. I know that they are busy, but they
are supposed to be there for us to help with our problems.
I have written to them about the pm problems about 10 times
with not one answer and I am not the only person with this
happening. So Hatley, at least your response didn't just
disappear, you should be thankful for that!

Since I'm replying from the email, I don't know if anyone said this or not, but here goes. It sounds like somehow you hit the enter key on your keyboard - maybe set your hand on it or something sitting next to the keyboard was resting on it, and it advanced the text box down multiple lines, but you never noticed it because either the thing moved by the time you started to type or you moved your hand without ever realizing you had been touching it. That's the ONLY thing I can think of that would cause that much blank space to appear. In fact, I'm going to add blank lines at the beginning of this to make sure what I'm saying actually works. If so, then that's my guess as to what happened.
