Are LG cell phones really so bad?

A few people told me that LG cells aren't so good. They told me that they never used their LG phone longer than a year, because they simply stopped working. Is it really true that LG's aren't long lasting?

I have the LG 380 and I absolutely love it, I've yet to have a single problem with it. I've had it since December of last year. My hubby has the LG Chocolate slide, and he loved it at first but the last few months the heat sensitive buttons have been starting to go and now he has to program all his numbers to voice dial or else he can't dial out at all. I have heard a lot of people have had problems with the LG Chocolate, specifically the heat sensitive buttons.

I had an LG phone that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, it didn't even last a year because it quit charging. I heard that was a big problem with those phones. Too bad, it was a great phone. I'm using a motorola now and have been for about 2 or 3 years. I haven't had any problems with motorola.

I think LG's are a waste of money. They don't last and it's not worth the money at all. I had 2 different LG phones and they were complete crap it wasn't even funny. They didn't even last a year so when you are on a 3 year contract buying a new phone at least 3 or 4 times in that 3 year contract is a complete waste. I have had a Samsung for over a year and it works great and no damage to it whatsoever. It has honestly been the best phone that I have got so far.

That they are a complete waste of money and are a brand that can't be trusted. I had my screen go on me within 2 months. They said that it was water damage and the phone was never anywhere near water, steam or anything wet. So don't know how you explain that one. I hated the charging as I use my phone alot and after 4 months it quit charging on me and this is after replacing chargers etc. They did nothing. All of this was on warranty as well as all cell phones have a year warranty and they never honoured it as well. So had to shell out money everytime.

I can't say that all LG phones are bad but I know someone who had one and it didn't last long for him. Maybe it was the phone or maybe it was how he took care of it. I can't say for sure.
