travel with travel agency

I think that the travel agent looks quite good. But why use a travel agent? You could book a flight to a city in Europe, like London, Paris or Rome to begin with. Then you could get a train pass to travel around Europe. Then you could use the Thomas Cook European Timetable to plan your own route. You could go to all the places that you wish to. You could stay in backpacker hostels or in guest houses listed in a good quality travel guide book like Lonely Planet or Rough Guides. Good luck planning or booking your trip to Europe.

I think the use of travel agents is in a rapid decline. If you have the time and are good at web research why pay a travel agent to do this for you when pretty much all the information you need is there on the web? Anyway I find doing the research and planning the trip all part of the fun.
