hi there. how often do you go grocery shopping??

i don't really do grocery shopping regularly. i'll pop by the supermarket to get stuff that i need as and when. i'll go to the supermarket to do window shopping at my leisure time to. i enjoy grocery shopping as i can buy a lot of stuff and yet not break my bank. if i were to do the same at clothing stores, the banks will be breathing down my neck. lol

I usualy go at least once a week. I try to go every sunday after church so I have my sons with me to help. I will end up going sometimes during the week because I forgot something or we ran out of something early but usualy it is just once a week for me.

well considering i work at a grocery store it was almost an every day thing to pick this or that up..then we started figuring out how much we spent that we really didn't need to and decided to change our habits....we now shop once a week at Walmart for almost all of our groceries and then stop at Shaw's for our meat and cold cuts...if we need milk or such during the week i will pick that up on my way home....it has really saved us a lot of $ this way...day to day shopping gets expensive...seems to me you buy a lot more things you could have really lived without

Grocery shopping is something I don't particularly enjoy. I go about twice a week and try very hard not to have to run back to pick up something quick in between times. I do make an effort to stay away from the grocery store, especially with today's prices. I'm hoping to stay out of there today!

I used to go buy groceries at least once a week, sometimes I just go to the store to buy a couple things. At our old apartment, we live just a few feet from a grocery store and it was open 24 hours so we just go there whenever we want. Although we lived on the third floor (with no elevators) so if we do buy a lot of groceries, we try to carry all of them in one trip. Now, we have to drive about 5 miles to the grocery story so we don't get to go there as often.

I usually go once a week, but if I have a special recipe I go and get special items. I used to do it the way you do, but I found that I was spending so much more money and in the end that stressed me out.

When i have time in dropping by in a grocery store, or when i'm ran out of stock,i have to budget my money, really hard to earn this days.

I usually go 5-6 times a month because most of the things are gettable here near my house but the one which is difficult to get here then we go out side area to get it.Actually the reason is that we live in anoutside area which is niether a metro nor a village so different areas with different plans of shopping.

It depends on whether I have to buy something. But usually I will have a grocery shopping at least once a week. I love China

I go grocery shopping once a week, every Saturday. Other days, I am fully occupied with my work, and by the time I finish that for the day, it is already 8 pm. , and totally tired ! So, I keep Saturdays for shopping. I have to get every thing I need for the whole week.

Hey there, I try to grocery shop once a week b/c if its any more than that my pocketbook can't take it. If I go to the store for milk and bread thinking I will not be spending that much, it always ends up being more than that. Cause this looks good, that looks good and I can't stress enough do not go to the grocery story with an empty belly :)!

i do grocery shopping once a week... i know its heavy on the pocket but what can i do? i needed to buy stuffs here in my flat.. argh!

I go grocery shopping evergday,hehe.

The key for me is to make a list before I go grocery shopping. I go once a week and try to stay out of the store untill the next week.

I keep saying we should spread our shopping out over a few days instead of buying everything we need at once as there is less to carry up the stairs at once and also a more "European" way of shopping as we call it here, would give us a better excuse to get out and about more often. But we like to snap up sale items so usually we check out with a pretty full basket and then stay in for a few days at least before the next grocery trip. So far away and yet it seems we have similar habits :-)

Well, because in this village there's no public transport downtown, I have to walk. We live on the 3rd floor in an apt. building with no elevator, so I opt to go grocery shopping 2-3 times a week, buying only a small amount of grocery every time I go. :-)))) Sometimes when I get too lazy, I ask hubby to buy grocery since he drives a car ha ha ha...

I oftenly go to grocery shopping after school and/or weekend. However, I do not always have things to buy.

Hi Shiloh, there are only the two of us at home, so we do not need to shop so frequently. I usually go grocery shopping once a week, and stock up fresh meat and vegetables for 5 -6 days, as we sometimes go out to eat. Sometimes my hubby goes with me - he likes fish, so he will choose the fish. On my own, I would only shop for chicken, beef, pork, vegetables and dried food.

I usually go once a week unless I forgot something important. It helps if I make a list, but even then I end up buying more than I plan to. I like shopping, but only when it isn't crowded. Sometimes I spend more time waiting in line than I do shopping. Then it isn't fun.

I go to the supermarket about once a week and spend roughly 30-40 dollars (2 people). Everything is so expensive these days - just 4 years ago I could go shopping for half that amount. Yeah, I also tend to have a list - otherwise I go way over budget. Some times I take a mid-week trip for stuff that runs out easily - milk, bread, eggs, etc, but mostly it's once a week.
