Which opertaing system do you like Windows xp or Windows 98 ??

I prefer XP over 98. Its not like I would not like Windows 98 but the minute I started to use XP I didn't want to go back. It was simply faster and better for me back than. But now with XP vs Vista it is a totally different story. Because I really don't feel the need for a new operation system at this time.

well my friend i think it will be harsh on 98 to get compared with windows xp as there were so many version between 98 and xp in which a lot have changed and those were dealth with and added to in windows xp. if you look at that then it is not good to compare them. but yest what i say is that both of them were the best of their time. if you have seen windows 98 was very stable at his time although it also crashed a lot which is not the case too much with xp. and then there are so many thing which are common in xp and windows 98 which make them the best products at that particular time

Ofcourse Windows Xp is the best.It's the best OS of the world.I would really like this product of microsoft.

i enjoy useing windows xp. there is a lot more things on it then windows 98. i don`t think that i would go to window vista, heard to many bad things about it.

Although Windows 98 is a solid operating system, Windows Xp is a lot more stable and user-friendly. There is no issue about compatibility with softwares and games in Windows Xp. Setting up drivers in Windows Xp is such a breeze. It even comes with its own drivers for known hardwares. Overall, Windows Xp is the best operating system out there in the market right now unless they can make Windows Vista accessible to people with less powerful computers.

I support your point of view noel0000. Windows xp provide more security than 98. Nowadays there are less people using windows 98. In my country the most popular os is Windows XP. However Vista still not so suitable as still have many conflict with the driver and some software

Definitely Windows XP! Marketers are not developing any programs anymore that is compatible with the old OS. If you are a gamer, Windows XP is the best to use especially for online games.

Windows 2000 was great. When I switched to XP I found the interface so bad that I changed to the classic theme (except the start menu, which was great). I'll probably do that too if I get Vista or the next windows.

i like windows xp then 98 and vista. games run so smoothly on xp. many games today dont run on 98. xp is much faster and secure than 98. so, my choice is windows xp.

Honestly I prefer windows XP because its up to date and its faster that 98. They have Vista out know but i think that i will still stick with XP because not a lot of programs support Vista
