...but my mom was able to pacify both of them. Few minutes after the scuffle, the cat collapsed mysteriously and died. Could it be that he suffered from heart attack?

Yes, it is quite possible the cat had a heart attack. My daughters cat who was 12 years old recently had one and passed away. My sympathies about the cat, Moochie must have really scared the poor thing.

Oh my.. I really feel sorry for the cat. It's just that Moochie's really mad at cats. I hate him for that. Last time he even had a fight with a pregnant cat.

I think yes , the cat get a heart attack because he got pain. This is normal in the nature of the animals, was it a old cat? Your dog is a lil bigger than the cat? ;D Cya later

They're about the same size. Moochie is 4 years old and cat is younger i'm sure. Maybe he's too fragile to handle a mad dog.

I do not know dog will fight with cat, i though cat will always run away from dog. Sometimes when dogs play with each other, they can be really rough, and they don't know they have actually hurt someone.

Yeah but this cat is kind of helpless so he didn't know what to do when he was attacked.

Awww that's so sad!! I'm sorry your dog did that. Sounds like you need to keep him on a leash at all times so he can't get another cat ever again. That's terrible but don't blame yourself for you didn't cause it to happen. Maybe if you train it with a leash, in due time he'll get the understanding that he's not to do that to another cat but maybe make friends. We can only hope, can't we?

A leash is one thing and being chained up is another. It's never wrong to have your dog on a leash when taking it outside of the home especially when there's cats around that he will chase and hurt. Besides, it's much safer for a dog to be on a leash than to be let to run freely unless it's in a fenced in yard.

Our yard is fenced but that stray cat managed to get in and that's why Moochie got noticed of him. There's been lots of stray cats lately.

Moochie's the first ever dog i had who never experienced being on a leash. I would like to keep it that way because i want to give him total freedom. He is a good dog really, it is just that he just can't control his rage. He's just a small dog and i'm not sure if i can bare to seem leashed.
