hi mylotters, before posting any discussion or response there is a preview option where we can preview our response/discussion before posting. i have never used it till now. but now while posting a response, i was in middle of the response and i haven't finished it and by mistake i pressed the post response button. then suddenly i realised it and pressed the stop button in the browser. but the response got posted incompletely. so i posted the remaining as a comment. do u use the preview option before posting anything. ???

Well, I never used the Preview button till now, except for once, when I wanted to see how the screen actually looked when we use it... and I don't' remember it anymore! lol. I usually make up my points and start typing them... I don't read my reply so often, but I make sure I haven't made any typos. Since I am using Firefox, and it has the ability to detect typos (like I corrected the typo I made when I wrote detect) - usually I don't make typos! However, when I fall back from explaining a point better, I wait until the reader has questioned on it. I would then explain it in comment. I am lucky that I am able to write all the points all together... and hardly miss any of them! Anyways, Happy Mylotting, vijbas!

I am at 1200+ and so far I have never used the preview button. I directly write the discussion or response and post and after tagging it is over. Some time I accidently post the response and then to retrieve by back button and tag that. Is there any provision to make some change in the response or discussion after pushing the post response or post discussion button.

I do not do preview, as it tended to not post correctly when I was doing so. I do not think that would have helped you in this case.

No I do not preview my posts before submitting. I just check that I have done any gross grammatical or spelling mistakes. If I think that there is no error in it i just press the post response button.

Nope, I always post response after proof reading my response. But sometimes, even though I proof read it, I still forget to include a couple more lines and I also add a comment instead.

Hi friend,No I dont have the habit of previewing, because I dont find enough time to post responses and if I sit and preview responses only next year I would reach my payout. So I dont do that.thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

It depends, I do not preview my short responses i.e 4-5 lines but if my response is big I preview it before posting so that I can check and correct my mistakes.

Well, usually I do not really preview my discussions or responses. But,what I do is I check it before posting atleast once. That does the job........ Though I think previewing is a good idea to prevent errors......

Good day.. As much as I wanted to and needed to I missed doing it all the time. That's why sometimes I kept repeating my mistakes in typing.

Ofcourse I preview all of my discussions, I never submit them before previewing, it is a very nice habit to do so, because incase if there was some incomplete post or there are some mistakes we can correct them. I never experienced any such problem of posting an incomplete comment or discussion so far.

LOL! Its like you are reading our minds here (G)! I have a bad habit of not previewing, because I am in a rush to get to my next post; the old brain is a rattling around with so many things, I just get in a hurry; but then there are a few times when I'm all medicated up; and mellowed out and not in a rush, I do slow down and use the preview button..

Hello! At first I used to use the preview button, but after few days I just began to post my responses. While I am writing my response I try to read it so that I make sure that I am not making a mistake. Happy mylotting!!

yes, for sure we have to check first if everything is right and correct. we have to see if our gramar, spelling and point of view are correct and never hurt someones philosophy, beliefs and truth base on wht they know.

Not always, it just depends on what I have written and how much, and what I am writing about. I try to just read my comments two or three times before submitting to make sure everything looks fine.

I never hit preview - because it seems every time I do my post disappears. I've tried it, twice. And both times my post was gone. So now I just hit post and hope I haven't mispelled anything.

No, i dont use the preview option before i post any response and/or discussion. The reason behind this is because i make it a point to check what i've written before i post my response. I check them for spelling errors and grammatical errors. Another thing is that i use dial up connection not broadband. Therefore, the page takes too long to appear or display if i will still preview the my response and discussion.

Nah, I'm too lazy, but when the page loads after I posted, I see a ton of typing errors. Sigh, guess I should make use of the preview button soon!

I haven't used it in the few posts I've made. I tend to try and check as I type. I know sometimes things can slip through and I do usually read things through quickly before pressing the post response buttonso hopefully there shouldn't be too many mistakes!
