Have you ever bee alone?

Have you tried being left alone somewhere? You do not have a companion and have nothing to do but just sit there and wait for someone to come rescue you... I was stranded yesterday somewhere near a forest. My motorcycle broke down and had to wait for someone to come get me, there was no signal so I was not able to call anyone. It was nearing dark and I was really scared. I did not want to walk and find someone cause I am scared I will be lost. There were no houses nearby and there was no light. I was really really scared. Thank God someone came after about 2 hours of waiting. It was my first time and I got scared. How bout you? What did you do? Have you ever been alone?

Yes once as mu hubby car broke down and there was no garage and iur phone battery was nill. I was pregnant and so i cannot walk so long. As we decided that i'll wait for him and he will bring some help. I waited for 2hrs . It was so lonely and fearful. I don't want to experience it again.

I have never been alone in that kind of situation. I'm not certain what I would do if that happened to me. I think I would have started to walk, probably in the direction I came in. There shouldn't be a threat of me being lost if I just backtracked. I'd rather feel like I was doing something than doing nothing. It's actually situations like that which make me consider traveling with an emergency kit. I'd include a flashlight & batteries, so lack of streetlights wouldn't be a problem.
