Very devastating indeed.. I showed this to my son so he could see that though we were without power for 4 days, many have suffered much more than we did..

Yep, that is what kept me going whenever I felt overwhelmed, I would think about those who were worse off than I was..

thanks for sharing..these are very sad! I have a relative also who lives in Houston and good thing only the roof of their house was destroyed, they are fine and safe!
I will be praying for all these victims and hopefully, they can recover soon with the help of generous and rich people who have extra money![/i]

Thank you for sharing ladym...my sister and all her family live just north of Houston,they got a lot of damage,with power poles,trees down all over.They won't get power back on they tell them for at least another week.He really took a terrible toll on everyone.So sad

Oh my gosh! I live 3 hours from Galveston. It was a beautiful place. I can't believe what happened there. It is absolutely horrible! Those poor people - everything they have worked for has been destroyed! Mother Nature is a powerful force. Wow... do you wish you had taken that vacation to Galveston over the summer?
