What I find really bad is kids who refuse to watch anything that's black and white. And sometimes these "kids" are in their 20s or something now, this phenomenon of "I won't watch black and white" has been around for quite awhile now.
Basically things starting switching to color in the 1960s, though of course color existed long before that (Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz - 1939.) By the end of the 60s though pretty much everything, movies and TV, was in color, except for occasional things filmed in black and white to imitate the look of older movies.

My son will watch some black and white. Like Shirley Temple or the Three Stooges.

At our dentist office there are oold video games, Donky Kong, Qbert
I told my kids 7 & 8 That i use to play these games When I was little
Their response was wow you really playes these games? Todays games don't have life limits, so they foud it strange when the game ended.

yep, they can be funny..Like my daughter about 3 years ago started getting into Star Wars and I think at first she was shocked to hear the first movie came out in 1976..1 person likes this
