Does your mom say things that edify you or is she always tearing you down by the things she says?

well me and my mom are not speaking at the moment because she seems to never be happy for me or my sister.She thinks that the things we have worked hard for we should give her like we owe it to her.She always tries to make us feel bad so will give in to her.But I finally said enough is enough of always feeling bad about everything so now were not speaking.

Hmmm, sad. But cutting her off totally? Family is really all we've got. I took me a long time to realise that. My mum discourages me a lot by the things she says, but I choose to believe what God says about me, so it doesn't get to me any more. I want to have as many good relationships with those around me as possible, so that I don't have any regrets should the unfortunate happen. Love covers a multitude of sins - the Bible
