do you believe in man existence before adam creation?

long before i became a believer, out of my curiosity i used to ask some bible readers and theologist,the same question. It was not written in the bible if there were human before adam and eve. but on my mind i think there are. how could it be that abel and cain multiply if they were the only or first family created by GOD. where did the wife of abel and cain came from.. bible tells us they came from other tribe... but i find the answer in the book of deuteronomy 29:29. the secrt things belongs to god..somehow i stop my querry..but still i am looking for the concrete answer..

As of now I'm not sure. But it seems quite likely that there was human-like creatures. They are generally called homonids. They are smaller than us. There was also this Neanderthals who of course lived alongside our forefathers, but somehow perished in a rather mysterious way. Adam means mankind, and Eve means womankind. The Bible uses adam in this sense in the beginning, but later Adam was referred to a person. So the biblical text is little unclear. Perhaps Archaelogy and Anthropology will makes things clearer later just as Science helped us understand the Solar system clearer.

The Adam and Eve story is just an introduction in the bible. The good book had to start somewhere.

And what about dinousaurs in bibles. Didn't god created man first? From the fossils discovery, it can be seen that dinosaurs exist billion of years before man. Does this show that dinosaurs came before god?
