The new millenium has been terrible at producing decent new bands! (Mostly.)

What happened to all the awesome music from the 90's?! Or even the 80's for that matter. I hope the next decade is more musically productive than this one. Disclaimer: I'm totally generalizing...there have been SOME good new bands.

The trouble is you will never hear a lot of the good bands because only the ones the big recording companies invest in will get the exposure, there are a lot of better bands out there but can't afford to make music because people want all their music for free so the opoor musicians who make the best music just can't afford to it...sad as it may be...
