I do believe in ghosts and spirits . The bible does talk about other life forms on other planets and does talk about spirits . If one beleives in God then one must believe in spirts because we have to become something when we cross over to the other side and if you believe you become something , why would it be so hard to believe that some are unable to cross over because of something that took place in this lifetime . I have always believed in this stuff and when I got mixed into things that I never should have like the ouija , I found out for sure that there is something out that that we are not able to see . Just because one can't see something does not mean it does not exist . We don't see the air we breath but we know it is there !!
I am not trying to convert anyone to my way of thinking just can't figure out why someone can believe in one thing but not believe in the other . I have found in most cases those that are unbelievers are such because they don't want to admit they believe in such things because it is still not something that is accepted by all and one doesn't want to be labelled crazy . For my self I believe and know it to be true so it doesn't really bother me if anyone believes me when I share my experiences . I have no reason to lie about things that happened and if I am not beieved then I am not believed . No biggie on my part because I know what I saw and what I experienced :)

i have had many experiences also and with both.. like i said below the bible had a witch that did magic (king saul and the witch of endor).. a zombie (lazarus) and ghosts.. (well i could name a few examples for ghosts depending on if you wanna see it as ghost or spirits) so i dont see why it would be so hard to believe in either..
while i do not share your beliefs i was raised with them and i think that if a person wasnt a christian or religious and didnt believe in god that the bible would sound like some kind of sci fi book and seem more way out than what they are portraying as far as magic and ghosts.. so to me.. if you can believe in the bible and all of its miracles then why cant there be miracles and unexplained things that may have been left out ya know??
i hope you arent thinking im attacking you or anything.. im agreeing with you so i hope i dont sound otherwise

This discussion has the potential of getting to deep. I really don't wanna go there. I do respect your beliefs, and do not feel offended by your comment. Thank you for responding.

If you are not willing to get deep into a discussion why on earth start it in the first place.

Yes i believe in ghosts and magic because i have seen ghosts and seen the effects of magic. What i am curious about is why someone can have such blind faith in a book right by man, revised by man, and proclaim its the word of god. I respect your faith and beliefs but don't use it to complain about someone else beliefs. And just for the record those shows are fiction with barely a grain of truth and most people enjoy a little fiction in there lives.

I believe in God and the bible. BUT I also believe is ghost and spirits and magic as well. I don't remember anything in the bible saying I can't believe in those things. People with magic powers. I even had a friend who studied Wicca and I helped her by completing her circle of elements. It was fun and an interesting experience. Wicca is just a belief in all living creatures believing that there is energy in all nature, something like that. As for believing in ghosts, well, why not. Do we not say "In the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost(Spirit)"?? That's what my mother told me when I had asked her if it was okay to believe in ghosts when I was little.
I think its always good to believe in what you don't know and can't see. It goes the same with Faith. If you can believe in God, you should believe in Demons. If you believe in Demons, why not angels, or Fairies or Witches or Wizards or people who can see the future or move things with your mind. People ask why and I ask 'Why Not?'

I do believe in ghosts. Those shows about magic on tv, though, that's just a bunch of parlor tricks in my opinion. I believe that if you believe in it, it's real for you. I believe in a lot of things that a lot of people scoff at, but I won't get into a discussion of religion. I respect your beliefs and really just thought I'd share a little bit of mine.

Old argument here, but you can't see God, yet you believe that there is a God. Why or how is that different from believing in other things not seen or explained?
I believe in God, I also believe in spirits, some of which are sent to watch over us in times of trouble or need. He knows we need comfort and these spirits, or angels or, whatever one chooses to call them are here for that purpose.
This if course is my belief, but, I do respect yours.
