I have been hearing that Jesse Jackson is not supporting Obama and was reported as saying he would like to "cut his balls off". What is going on with this? Why does Jesse Jackson so upset with Obama? I would have thought that Jesse would have supported Obama. Do you know what is going on with this situation?

I thought he was a supporter too. Then someone here on mylot told me he did not support him. SO I did a search engine on it and found an interview in which Jackson said that Obama "talked down to black people" and the he wants "to cut his balls off". Good thing Obama has secret service protecting him. I would think there is something more to this story. Hopefully someone here will know what is really going on and why jackson seems to hate obama.

Probably because Jackson is so consumed with jealousy he can't see straight. He's a racist who turned his Rainbow Coalition into a joke and will never achieve any more than he already has.

Yes he let out his feelings when he thought he was off the record after a Fox News inteview. He tried to make amends, but too late the cat was out of the bag. Jealousy may well be the main reason, it may also be that Obama tries to reach out and be inclusive to all people and not just simply represent the black community. Who knows?

Jesse Jackson likely feels like he should be where Obama his. He was never able to get the nomination for president.
The other thing... he actually thinks Obama has somehow disrespected black Americans, or that he doesn't represent them the way he should.

Jesse Jackson is jealous of Barack Obama's success. Jesse Jackson cannot be to happy that Obama's VP is Joe Biden, the man that said Obama is the first articulate and clean African American candidate for President. Know I do not know if Biden had ever heard of Jesse Jackson but I think Jesse was somewhat articulate, I believe he took showers, and he is a member of the African American community.
