I definitely do not think that you can have too many photographs. I adore photography and it's been far too long since I actually picked up my camera for a purpose other than cleaning it. Growing up in my parents house, we didn't really have photo albums. Instead we had shoeboxes filled with photographs sorted by year.
When my mother turned 50, my sisters and I secretly sorted through every single photograph we all had (probably over 2000) in the shoe boxes as well as our collections and selected the best pictures to be put on a DVD with some of her favorite songs. This was one of her favorite gifts, and she never resists an opportunity to show this off to guests.
The best part of the whole process was looking back on the pictures and being told stories about my mom from before I was born. I'm very grateful for all the pictures my parents have and I hope to do the same thing one day when I have my own children.

There's no such thing as too many pictures!!! I take a TON of pictures! I've taken around 10,000 since April! So yah, I'm always shooting! Mostly I just keep my photos on my computer and post them online in digital galleries. I do have some framed prints of a few of my photos that I've been meaning to hang on my walls... I just haven't gotten around to it yet!

You can never have too many, photos are priceless, sometimes we just don't appreciate them until later in our lives or when certain things happen in our lives but they are wonderful thing to have...I have photos all over the walls on one side of my house as I don't have windows on that side, I had anestate agent come to my house to tell me what my house was worthas i was thinking of selling and i said but of corse I will take all those pictures down and he said I should leave them up as they looked impressive...keep taking your photos...

I don't think there can ever be too many. I don't tend to have a lot of photos on my walls, I have a few frames but I do have a number of photo albums and a several CD's with digital photos. One of the things that you notice in what if questions whenever asked : If your house was on fire and you and your family and pets where safe and you could save only one thing what would it be, it has nearly become automatic to say the family photos. So as long you enjoy it have fun.
