our county tonight is about out of gas!!!

No shortage here. But the prices were up to $4.39/gal... and dh paid $4.03 the other day so they are on the way down. I'm sure it depends on what region of the country you live in and if the refineries are up and running. They had on the news this evening that a gas station was @ $3.59/gal and the cops had to be called to direct traffic! I don't blame them do you?

I don't know for 100% sure if we are low on gas here or not (scary if we are considering there are a lot of refineries in our state), but the middle of last week or so some gas stations stopped showing the going rate for a gallon of regular gas. All of the other levels were listed, just not regular. Gas prices shot up to about 3.79, then dropped back down to 3.55, now they are back up to 3.69...

My friend I have heard that gas is going up really fast in the United States due to the refineries in Texas being shut down,and everyone has been going to the gas pumps to get gas before it goes to high,the other day me,my fiance,and my parents were going out to eat,and then to Wal Mart to pick up some pictures we left there to be developed and some other groceries,and we passed several gas stations that were out of gas,and luckily we found one that still had gas,since we needed to get gas in the car before we ran out of gas.

REally?? Wow! I hadn't heard anything like that around here yet, where is this happening at?? that's a bit scary to me and I'm sure to you and others...it all just boggles my mind, there is no reason for this to happen;
