can there be a substitute for a friend?

I'm so sorry for coming in so late.I agree completely with you. I can't imagine anyone more helpful or useful than a friend.

I agree friends are really precious to us,and they are always around when we need them and they always help us,most of my friends are users and I do not trust them farther than I can throw them,because they have given me no reason to trust them,but I have two best friends,one is my fiance who always makes me laugh and feel better and I love her with all my heart and soul,and the other is a guy I met in school who has the same birthday as me,and I could not live without either of them in my life especially my fiance because she is the most important person in my life.

Frenz can never be substituted because they teach us about different things in life, and we have different experiences with them.. Be it good or bad, they can be similiar but never exactly the same.. hehe ^_^ And so, u see, without the bad frenz we have, we won't know about the good frenz around us.. And without the bad frenz around, we also won't realise that we have taken our good frenz for granted.. lol

People may walk in and out of our life, but only true friends will leave footprints in our hearts. There's no a substitute for a friend in my case. Sometimes there's some things which I can tell only her, not my mum. We trust each other in everything.

There is not nor will there ever be, a substitute for a true friend.

A new friend must be the substitute of the old one

My most dearest friend would be my husband, and I don't think that there would be anyone more dear to me than him. I do have other dear friends but they don't compare to my husband, he's the one I go to first when I have something important to say or talk about. I don't know what I would do without him or any of my friends.

Let me first set you straight about who can be a friend. Even your parents, brother, sister or cousing can be a friend. I don't know from where you are coming from when you compare a friend to parents implying that parents cannot be true friends or that a friend can be truer to you than your parents. Yes yopu can find many substitutes for a friend even one whom yopu say is true.When it matters most, the saying that blood is thicker than water is mostly proven because your family more often than not will be thew ones who would be there for you over those who are not related even if you call them friend. Your question should be-Can a friend substitute or take the place of your parents? For me, the answer is NO but I guess for you the answer seems to be a big YES. I hope you will never be forced to choose.

there is nothing like a good friend. sometimesthey are better to you & can be trusted more than somone in your family. everyone needs good friends.

well,this is an interesting questions .friends are helpful in many waysa to us.they cant be substituted with someothers there is no one who can take the place of friends.
