which version of mario is the best..?

there is no best if there was no beginning and i believe that because of the previous versions of the mario. i remember when i was a child that we played a version of mario which is run through a platform of ms dos. well i like it. do you still remember that mario version that is run over the dos mode? ahehehehehe i love it when i was a child because it is so simple...

I also realy like the first Mario Brothers it was such a simple concept to understand.though i also realy liked Super Mario Bros.3 cause it was the first time you could chose multiple levels.So it gave the gaming industry a whole new look.

Super Mario 3 definitely was the best. I mean in terms of graphics and sound it was better. It was also better in terms of power-ups. Mario even had a Hammer Bros suit and a Tanooki Suit. The game also had nice minigames where you get to win extra lives. Each world also had its own theme. My favorites were the 2nd world which looked like ancient Egypt and the 4th world which was a giant world. The concept of the Koopaling was great also. All in all a classic and the 2nd best selling NES game of all time!
