way back over 10 years ago i decided to wax my legs and so i got one of those kits where the wax was already on the strips.. well how is 1 box suppose to do all and both of your legs?? half the time it seemed like i would have to go over the area again and then it seemed like i had enough strips for maybe part of one leg!! i always assumed 1 box would do a full wax.. and am i the only one those things didnt seem to work on?? im scared to try the wax in the tub thing that you apply

I tried the one's for the brows and it didn't seem to work as well as in the salon. So I knew not to try the one's for the legs. The other part is that I am not really a do it yourself type person. So I just returned to my old habits of going to the salon, to have these types of services. I've found too that when professionally done, that it seems to last longer and in that respect outside of paying for personal service it can actually end up being less expensive.

I've never waxed my legs - I have this Nair cream that I use when I'm lazy. It's pretty thick (smells strong like hair dye) and you just basically cover your legs in it, leave it on at least 3 min but less than 10, then wash it off in the shower or bath with a washcloth. It works pretty well, not completely because I still see a hair or two, and you have to wait until you have growth you can see before it works well.
I normally use an electric shaver and that works excellent but it takes awhile. That's why I use the Nair when I'm not in the mood or don't have time. One question - what does the box SAY? Does it state that there's enough for both legs or does it indicate you might need 2 boxes? LOL!

I've tried those as well...the box NEVER does my whole leg..just bits. I like using the tubs OR getting one of the sugaring kits...they do alot more and sometimes you can do it several times befroe having to replace the tub.
Then again i did try duct tape.
Be warned the little electric pluckers hurt like a hot darn. I had one in highschool i only managed to use it about 3 times becuase it was about 10 times WORSE than waxing.

I have used Nads before and i loved it. Its not a hot wax so that was a major bonus for me. Also it got all the hair off and the strips are washable and long. My only problem is that the process takes forever.
