Oh and contrary to popular belief, SecondLife is MORE than a game! It's a virtual world that you CAN earn real money in. To me...it turns into real money...it's a REAL opportunity!
Most that have been there for sometime don't refer to this as a "game" so to speak. It's much more serious than that once you get your barrings!

The best way I have found to earn money on secondlife is camping.

The game explains itself. When you make a character it teaches you the basics of secondlife...the island is specifically for new players and there are even people there that volunteer to help new people...you shouldn't have a problem with it.

The best thing to do is start off slow and learn to do things. Making money is hard cuz camping places take forever. The best way for me is to buy lindens easy and fast. When I started out I had no clue what I was doing wore boxes for days on my head and could not get them off lolol, but I kept trying and now I have tons of clothes I love ot shop, I have my own stores make gestures and poppers, I have 2 houses and I did all in a years time.

Good question. I also want to know the answer.
I have just heard that many companyies have already moved into the game (Adidas/SUN/IBM) and making a real bussiness there. For example they making meetings...etc.
It's very attractive thing to work and make some money in a virtual world.
